Set of Tibetan Singing Bowl with handcrafted mantras and deities image is made up of various metals such as copper, bronze and other metals. Singing bowls are used for religious purposes, making music and meditations, as well as for relaxation and personal well-being. It holds the history as one of the popular means of bowls sound used in ancient times in Nepal and tibet for Relaxation, Mindfullness, Meditations, Yogas etc. These bowls produce a wonderful sound when you hit and rub the outermost rim in a circular motion keeping the pressure in the edge by wooden mallet for lasting the therapeutic sound. Singing bells/bowls are unique hand crafted materials which has many uses and is popular for the music it produces. These bowls are made from various metals like bronze, tin , copper, silver, iron. The singing bowl has Pancha buddha carved on the outside and mandala on the backside with A Buddha carved inside.

“Pancha Buddhas” are so popular in Nepal that before you enter many houses belonging to Buddhist people, you will notice paintings of five Buddhas above the entrance. These Buddhas are also known as “Dhyani Buddhas” as they are in the meditative posture. It is said they emanate from the Adibuddha, the first Buddha. They are also called Tathagata, and they are also a familiar sight along the roadsides in Kathmandu and Patan as they are found carved on the numerous stone chaityas. We normally see four Dhyani Buddhas represented on four sides of the chaitya. Pancha Buddhas are also depicted on mandalas. The five Buddhas are Vairochana, Akshobhya, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Amoghasiddhi. They may not be placed haphazardly as each has a fixed place. Vairochana is placed at the center, Akshobhya facing east, Ratnasambhava-south, Amitabha-west and Amoghasiddhi- north.
