Dorje Drolo, “The Wild Wrathful Vajra,” with his mount, the pregnant tigress, is one of the Eight Manifestations of Rinpoche Guru. He took on this manifestation in Paro Taktsang (Tiger's Nest Monastery) in Bhutan to conquer the local deities who were opposed to Buddhism, and meditation in sacred places controlled by them mostly in ancient sites along the Himalayas as well as to protect dharma and terma treasures.
