A Sankha is a conch shell of ritual and religious importance in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is shell of large predatory sea snail, found in the Indian ocean. Sankha is still used as trumpet in Hindu ritual, and in the past was used as a war trumpet. The sankha is praised in Hindu scriptures as a giver of fame, longevity and prosperity, the cleanser of sin and the abode the goddess Lakshmi, who is the goddess of wealth and consort of Vishnu. The sankha is one of the eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism, the Ashtamangala, and represents the pervasive sound of Buddhism. 

 

Kuber also known as Kuvera or Kubera, is the Lord of Wealth and the god-king of the semi-divine Yakshas in Hindu mythology. He is regarded as the regent of the North, and a protector of the world. His many epithets extol him as the overlord of numerous semi-divine species and the owner of the treasures of the world. Kubera is often depicted with a plump body, adorned with jewels, and carrying a money-pot and a club. Originally described as the chief of evil spirits in Vedic-era texts, Kubera acquired the status of a Deva only in Puranas and Hindu epics.
