Our beautiful Tibetan ghau pendants are specially made to contain sacred items for Tibetan Buddhists. Inside the special box the items of spiritual inspiration are held close to the practitioner’s heart from a cord hung around the neck. As a result, ghau serve as beautiful adornments for Buddhists and many others. Each of our ghau pendants are handmade from metals such as copper, brass, gold and silver. The Ghau opens to a concealed inner space, and is traditionally used by Tibetan Buddhists to hold a picture of their favorite deity or Lama, a folded-up scroll of sacred mantras, special herbs or sacred relics. The Ghau is used as an amulet to help the wearer to ward off negative energy and attract blessings.
